As tourists, we found this cafe frequented by locals. Menus were only in German, would have been intimidating except our server was very kind and gave us good recommendations! We ordered the Marillenstrudel (apricot strudel) and a seasonal plum pastry and were blown away. For coffee, we ordered the Einspanner (espresso with whipped cream). Highly recommend this cafe.

We came to explore the Servitenviertel and began with breakfast here. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, just the quiet buzz of conversation as the snow fell outside. Nothing fancy, just traditional Handsemmel and trimmings, and good coffee and tea. We didn't have cakes but they look good. We stayed longer than we meant, which is a good sign. Friendly, quiet, efficient staff too.

Cosy spot on a tranquil church square. Great quality coffee, sandwiches, freshly baked goods and ice cream. Friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely recommended; especially the strudel is tremendous and comes in a big serving!

Walked in for a cup of coffee in-between exploring the neighbourhood, and what a gem this little cafe is. They make an excellent espresso and the apple strudel was the best I've had across Germany and Austria. When I popped in the cafe was full of locals and university students from the neighbourhood, always an excellent sign. Highly recommended!

Be ready to visit very old cafe (don’t except modern design). But “Krapfen“ and „Erdbeerstrudel“ are super delicious
